2009 Pacific Brewers Cup Results!

• Score Sheets - All score sheets have been returned, either to the local clubs for distribution, or by mail directly to the entrant if not in a local club. If you haven't received your score sheet yet, please contact us.
• Feedback - Comments or suggestions for improving future PBCs are welcome. Please email them to Jim Wilson.
• Twitter - The 2009 PBC Twitter feed will be shutting down by Dec. 1st.
• Prizes - Prizes are in! They are:
  • 1st - Engraved marble coaster and commemorative glass
  • 2nd - Engraved marble coaster
  • 3rd - Commemorative glass

  In addition, Best of Show winner and runners up, and high point homebrewer will receive additional prizes donated by some of our sponsors.

  The prizes for winners from Pacific Gravity and LBHS have been handed off to their club for distribution. Prizes that need to be mailed directly to the recipient will be shipping on Nov. 23rd, and are scheduled to be delivered by no later than Dec. 1st. If you haven't received your prize by then, please contact us.

  

This year marks the 13th-Annual Pacific Brewers Cup Homebrew Competition. The competition is hosted on a rotating basis by the Strand Brewers' Club, Pacific Gravity in Culver City, and the Long Beach Homebrewers.

Judging will be held on September 19, at the Courtyard Los Angeles LAX/El Segundo. The hotel is located at 2000 East Mariposa Avenue in El Segundo, about 1 mile south of LAX. (Map & Directions).

PBC 2009 is an AHA sanctioned homebrew competition, and will use the beer style guidelines published by the Beer Judge Certification Program.

Entries are due between August 17 and September 4 at one of the following locations:

Call for Judges and Stewards
The Strand Brewers' Club is looking for BJCP certified judges to help judge the Pacific Brewers Cup homebrew competition. Apprentice judges and stewards who assist with the competition are also welcome and need no formal qualifications. You can register to help out on-line by filling out our registration form, or by contacting the Judge Director, Jay Ankeney.
